New season & new opening hours

Estamos en la recta final del verano, a punto de comenzar un nuevo ciclo. Se avecinan nuevos proyectos y retos, tanto para OPENstudio79, como para mí y mi desarrollo creativo y artístico.

Os explico, este verano he tenido la oportunidad de dedicar más tiempo a crear, a mojar los pinceles en tinta, a recolectar hojas y flores para extraer sus pigmentos y sumergir mis manos en colores naturales. Tiempo para la creación, la experimentación, tiempo para mí. Un tiempo que no ha hecho más que reforzar una idea que llevaba tiempo madurando: volver a dedicar más tiempo a mi trabajo creativo, a conectar con la naturaleza, a aprender de la sabiduría de otros artesanos y crecer como artista. 

Summer is almost getting to it's end and so are my holidays. Ahead of mine are many new projects and challenges I want to face, in OPENstudio79 and my personal creative and artistic development. All this will mean some modifications at my studio shop and opening hours (from September 15th on), which I will share with you all this in the following posts and newsletters. But I can already tell you in advance that I want to dedicate again more time to my creative work, learning from nature, from the wisdom of other artisan and to grow as an artist.

Y para poder dedicar más tiempo a mi propio trabajo creativo, me veo obligada a reducir el horario de apertura de OPENstudio79. A partir de la semana del 18 de septiembre, el horario de atención al público será jueves y viernes todo el día y el sábado por la mañana. El resto de la semana trabajaré en el estudio en mis nuevos proyectos de arte y diseño, relacionados con tintes naturales, hilado de lana y el eco print.

It is my intention to gather more time for my own creative work and this will mean reducing the opening hours of OPENstudio79. From September 18th on OPENstudio79 will be open to the public only on Thursdays and Fridays through the whole day and Saturday mornings. The rest of the week I will be working on my new art and design projects related to natural dyes, hand spun wool and eco print.

Espero que  este cambio de horario no os suponga ningún trastorno y que cuando os paséis por OPENstudio79 pueda sorprenderos con más novedades, pero con el mismo cariño que siempre. Como os comenté en el post anterior, seguirán habiendo talleres y eventos, una exclusiva selección de lanas o fibras naturales teñidas e hiladas a mano, productos de diseño textil y piezas de artesanos o artistas especiales.

I hope that this change in the studio opening hours will not cause you any inconvenience and that I can surprise you at OPENstudio79 with more news, but with the same love as always.
As I told you in my previous post there will still be workshops and events happening, an exclusive selection of yarns or hand dyed or hand spun fibers, textile design products and other pieces by artisan or special artists.
